Anandpur Sahib re-designated as Sri Anandpur Sahib

 
Anandpur Sahib re-designated as Sri Anandpur Sahib
  •  Keeping in view the religious sanctity of historic town of Anandpur Sahib, the Punjab Chief Minister Mr. Parkash Singh Badal odered to  re-designate town of Anandpur Sahib as ‘Sri Anandpur Sahib. 
  •  The decision has been taken by the Chief Minister while keeping in view the religious sentiments of the people and immense historic importance of Sri Anandpur Sahib, the birthplace of Khalsa, where the tenth Sikh Guru Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji laid the foundation of Sikh panth by baptizing five beloved ones (Panj Piyaras) irrespective of their caste, colour, religion and creed on the historic day of Baisakhi in 1699.
  • Sri Anandpur Sahib, which is also known as the city of bliss, also remained abode of Sri Guru Teg Bahadur Ji and his son Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji besides Mata Gujri Ji and four Sahibzaadas of Sri Guru Gobind Singh due to which it was revered by one and all..

DETAILS ON AIM AND SETU 2015 BUDGET



ATAL Innovation Mission (AIM) Setup In Budget 2015.
  •  Government has announced to establish the ATAL Innovation Mission(AIM) in NITI.
  • AIM will be an Innovation Promotion Platform involving academics, entrepreneurs and researchers and draw upon national and international experiences to foster a culture of innovation, R&D and scientific research in India.
  •  This platform will also promote a network of world-class innovation hubs and Grand Challenges for India.
  •  Initially a sum of Rs.150 crore will be earmarked for this purpose.
 
Self Employment and Talent Utilisation (SETU) Setup In Budget 2015
  • Government has announced the setting up of a Self- Employment and Talent Utilisation (SETU) mechanism.
  • SETU will be a Techno-Financial, Incubation and Facilitation Programme to support all aspects of start up businesses, and other self-employment activities, particularly in technology-driven areas.
  •  An amount of Rs.1000 crore is being set up initially in NITI Aayog for SETU.
